Knives are a Bristol noise collective formed in 2022 by vocalist Jay Schottlander and drummer Erin Cook while at university. The six-piece blends hardcore, post-punk and experimental jazz - saxophone alongside crushing guitar riffs and rapped vocals. Their debut album GLITTER came out in May 2025 on Marshall Records, with The Wire calling it "very necessary". Relentless touring across the UK and Europe has built them a devoted cult following.
Knives announced a summer 2026 tour including stops in Kyiv, Zagreb, Timișoara and at the Download festival in Donnington.
In February 2026, Knives embarked on a joint tour across Europe and the United Kingdom with the band The Callous Daoboys, which included a stop at Prague's Rock Café.
Knives released the EP REGLITTER I (November 19, 2025, Marshall Records) - a reworking of tracks from their debut album GLITTER in collaboration with C.A. Francis (DITZ), Carson Pace (The Callous Daoboys), Death Goals and Chest.

Knives participated in the inaugural Made Of Loud tour by Marshall Records alongside Cancer Bats and Ignite, which celebrated British grassroots music clubs.
