Karl Hermann Frank

About

Karl Hermann Frank (1898–1946) was a Sudeten German and senior Nazi official, one of the principal figures of the German occupation of the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia. He served as State Minister for Bohemia and Moravia and bore direct responsibility for brutal reprisals, including the destruction of Lidice and Ležáky. After the war he was tried and executed in Prague.
