About

Kabát is a Czech hard rock band from Teplice, active since 1983. The five-piece lineup - vocalist Josef Vojtek, bassist Milan Špalek, guitarists Tomáš Krulich and Ota Váňa, and drummer Radek Hurčík - has been unchanged since 1989, a record in Czech show business. Over their career the band has released 13 studio albums selling over 1.2 million copies, and has won the Český slavík award for best group 16 times.

    Kabát won the Český slavík poll for the second consecutive year in the band of the year category - for the sixteenth time overall.
