Julius Mařák (1832–1899) was a Czech landscape painter and one of the most prominent figures of 19th-century Czech art. Trained in Vienna and Munich, he is known for his romantic depictions of forests, ponds, and the Bohemian countryside. He also taught at the Prague Academy of Fine Arts, influencing a generation of Czech painters.
