Rock for People
The legendary Rock for People returns for its 31st edition with headliners Gorillaz, Iron Maiden, and Limp Bizkit. This five-day festival in Hradec Králové features over 200 artists, theatre, stand-up comedy, and workshops.
Iron Maiden are a British heavy metal band founded in London's East End in 1975 by bassist Steve Harris. Over five decades they have released seventeen studio albums and built one of the most devoted fanbases in rock, selling tens of millions of records worldwide. Their iconic mascot Eddie, elaborate stage productions, and relentless touring schedule have kept them at the top of the genre for generations.
Iron Maiden were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in April 2026 as one of the 2026 inductees, along with Oasis, Phil Collins, Billy Idol and others.
The band did not attend the ceremonial event in Los Angeles (November 14, 2026) - at that time they will be on tour in Australia.
In February 2026, Iron Maiden announced the final shows of the Run for Your Lives tour in Japan (Yokohama, November 24-25, 2026), after which the band plans a break from touring throughout 2027.
In December 2025, the band announced an extensive tour of Central and South America in October 2026 with seven supporting bands.
In December 2024, longtime drummer Nicko McBrain retired; he was succeeded by Simon Dawson, who made his debut with the band on tour in May 2025.
