Jiří Šlitr (1924–1969) was a Czech actor, musician, composer and visual artist. Together with Jiří Suchý, he co-founded the Prague theatre Divadlo Semafor, where they created numerous popular songs and stage productions. His work left a lasting mark on Czech popular culture of the 1960s.
