Jaroslav Valečka (born 1972) is a Czech painter and graphic artist who studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague under Prof. Jiří Sopko. His work centres on the landscape of northern Bohemia and the Sudeten region, drawing on the memory of places, historical trauma and local mythology. Rooted in expressionism and symbolism, his paintings are known for their intense colour and atmospheric light. His works are held in the National Gallery in Prague and other public collections.
