Jaroslav Svěcený (born 8 December 1960 in Hradec Králové) is a Czech violin virtuoso who trained at the Prague Conservatoire and the Academy of Performing Arts under František Pospíšil and Václav Snítil, later refining his craft in masterclasses with Nathan Milstein and Gidon Kremer. Over four decades he has performed in 62 countries, released more than 45 CDs, and co-created the acclaimed Vivaldianno project - a fusion of classical music and rock with guitarist Michal Dvořák. He is also a court-certified expert in stringed instruments and a tireless advocate for bringing classical music to wider audiences.

    In 2025, Jaroslav Svěcený celebrates 40 years on the professional stage and undertakes a jubilee tour JS 40 years on stage with a series of concerts and festival performances in the Czech Republic and abroad.
