Richard Müller (born 6 September 1961 in Hlohovec, Slovakia) is a Slovak singer, songwriter and lyricist, one of the best-known voices in Czech and Slovak popular music. He rose to prominence in the 1980s with the band Banket, then launched a solo career in 1992 that has produced over twenty studio albums and more than one million records sold across both countries. He has received eighteen Aurel awards and multiple Czech Anděl prizes.
