About

Jan Hrdina is a Czech historian, author and history populariser specialising in early British history, antiquity and the early Middle Ages. He studied history and classical archaeology at Masaryk University in Brno and history at the University of Groningen. He is the author of Scotland: Land of Ancient Mysteries and the novel Tajemství skotské krve, and works as a consultant on film and documentary projects.
