Serious Black is a German power metal band formed in 2014 by bassist Mario Lochert, initially drawing together veterans from Helloween, Blind Guardian and Tad Morose. The group built its reputation on melodic, anthem-driven songs with powerful vocals, releasing six studio albums on AFM Records by 2024. Over a decade of activity, they have played more than 250 concerts and festival shows worldwide.
