Gloryhammer, Majestica and Arion
Three metal bands - Scottish Gloryhammer, Italian Majestica, and Finnish Arion - perform at Garage Club in Ostrava.
Arion is a Finnish melodic metal band formed in 2011 at the Sibelius Lukio music school in Helsinki, where guitarist Iivo Kaipainen, drummer Topias Kupiainen and keyboardist Arttu Vauhkonen first joined forces. The band first caught wider attention in 2013 as teenage contestants on the Finnish TV song contest UMK. Four studio albums - from the 2014 debut "Last of Us" through "Vultures Die Alone" (2021) to "The Light That Burns The Sky" (2025) - have built them a steady international following, with tours alongside Dream Theater, Battle Beast and Gloryhammer.
Arion released their fourth studio album "The Light That Burns The Sky" on February 28, 2025 through the label Reigning Phoenix Music.
In January 2025, the band announced signing a contract with the label RPM and released the single "Like the Phoenix I Will Rise" with a music video.
Arion performed a joint European co-headlining tour with German band Brainstorm titled "The Plague That Burns The Sky Tour 2025".
In November 2024, the band released the single "From an Empire to a Fall" through the label Ranka Kustannus.
In February 2024, Arion released the single "Wings of Twilight" featuring guest vocals by Melissy Bonny (Ad Infinitum).
