About

Horse Lords are an American experimental rock quartet from Baltimore, active since 2010. Andrew Bernstein (saxophone), Max Eilbacher (bass), Owen Gardner (guitar), and Sam Haberman (drums) build their sound on just intonation tuning, polyrhythm, and algorithmic composition, drawing on krautrock, Afrobeat, and Appalachian folk. Three of the four members relocated to Germany in 2021, and the band has released over ten albums and live recordings, on RVNG Intl. since 2022.
