Aldous Harding, born Hannah Topp, is a singer-songwriter from Lyttelton, New Zealand, who began her career busking on the street before fellow musician Anika Moa invited her to open a show. She has released four albums on 4AD - Party (2017), Designer (2019) and Warm Chris (2022) - all produced with John Parish in Wales, and her single "The Barrel" won New Zealand's APRA Silver Scroll award.
Aldous Harding released her fifth studio album Train on the Island on May 8, 2026 through the labels 4AD and Flying Nun Records.
Harding launched an extensive tour across the United Kingdom, Europe and North America - these are her first headline concerts since 2023.
Aldous Harding was confirmed as the support act for Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds on all Australian and New Zealand dates of the Wild God Tour in 2026.
The first single from the new album "One Stop" was released, with a music video directed by Michelle Henning that premiered on BBC 6Music.
The second single from the album Train on the Island, "Venus in the Zinnia" featuring H. Hawkline, was released in April 2026.
