Grzegorz Karnas

About

Grzegorz Karnas (born 1972 in Wodzisław Śląski, Upper Silesia) is a Polish jazz vocalist, music producer and educator, graduate of the Jazz Institute at the Academy of Music in Katowice. His voice spans an unusually wide range - from deep bass to falsetto - and he is known for his ability to mimic the sound of instruments vocally. He is the founder and artistic director of the Voicingers international vocal jazz festival in Żory, Poland, and has performed across Europe, Africa and Asia.

    Karnas performs as artistic director and performer at the Voicingers 2026 festival in Žory (August 10-16, 2026), of which he is the founder.

    On the closing evening of Voicingers 2026 (August 15), Karnas will perform as part of Voicingers All Stars together with Natalia Kordiak and Manu Domergue.

    In August 2025, Karnas performed at the Krakow club Alchemia.
