
Czech Statehood Day
A celebration of Czech Statehood Day held in Brno with free entry.
Eva Truncová (born 1996 in Brno) is a Czech architect, writer and curator who graduated from the Faculty of Architecture at Brno University of Technology. Her diploma thesis Dva tisíce osmdesát čtyři, dealing with the transformation of a Brno brownfield site, won the Czech Chamber of Architects' annual diploma thesis competition. Since 2022 she has run the Brno shop-window gallery 45 000 l and writes about architecture for outlets such as Kapitál and ERA21, while also pursuing doctoral research on architecture as a political phenomenon under 20th-century authoritarian regimes.
Truncová created the architectural framework for the exhibition Vector of Poverty at the Brno House of the Lords of Kunštát, opened on March 18, 2025.
As a member of the curatorial team 4AM Forum for Architecture and Media, she co-created the exhibition Tabula fracta about the vulnerability of architecture in public space.
At the gallery 45 000 l, which she curates, an exhibition installation by Jakub Ročka Syntopie Brno Centrum-Jih runs from December 2025 to February 2026.
Together with architect Monika Přikrylová, she presented an outdoor exhibition Co bude, Vltavská? at the Gallery of the Capital City of Prague.
