UNIFEST 2026 - open air
The sixth edition of an all-day open-air festival featuring live music, exhibitions, and UNI magazine merchandise across three stages in the Kaštan venue.
DVA is a Czech music duo from Hradec Králové, formed in 2006 by Bára Ungerová and Jan Kratochvíl, both formerly of Divadlo DNO theatre. They describe their sound as "folk music of nonexistent nations" - an eclectic blend of tango, cabaret, beatbox and acoustic electro, sung in an invented language. Their international profile grew largely through game soundtracks for Amanita Design, particularly Botanicula (2012), which won the Excellence in Audio Award at the Independent Games Festival in San Francisco. In 2024 they released their fourth studio album, Piri Piri, and returned to live performance.
DVA released their fourth studio album Piri Piri on September 13, 2024 on the Bumbum Satori label on CD, LP and digitally; the album was produced by British producer Timothy London.
The band presented the album Piri Piri on tour: October 16 at Prague's Palác Akropolis, October 23 at Brno's Kabinet MÚZ and October 24 in Pardubice.
Bára Ungerová and Jan Kratochvíl appeared as guests on the ArtZóna program on Czech Television in October 2024.
DVA performed in February 2025 at Klubu Rebel Na Farských in Žďár nad Sázavou as part of the ongoing tour for the album Piri Piri.
The band's official website confirmed in March 2026 that DVA are active and performing with the album Piri Piri.
