
Prashtenko Anniversary
The Prashtenko bagpipe band celebrates its anniversary with dancing and singing at the Secession Hall Na Marjánce. The programme features the Moravian Cimbalom Band Trnka and the folk ensemble Šáteček from Semice.
Dudácká muzika Praštěnka is a Prague-based folk ensemble founded in 2010 to accompany the dancers of the Laskavec folklore group. It became independent in 2013 and settled into a lineup of eight musicians playing the traditional combination of violin, clarinet, bagpipes and bass. Widely described as Prague's only bagpipe band, the group draws its repertoire mainly from the Chod region and South Bohemia.
Praštěnka performed at the Berounský koláč 2025 folk festival in Beroun.
The band organized a folk evening at the Letka club on Letná in Prague.
Praštěnka performed at the Staročeské máje celebration at Karlštejn Castle.
The band performed at the Stodůlecký folk ball at KC Mlejn in Prague.
Praštěnka participated in the 38th Meeting of Folk Music at the Vzlet cultural center in Vršovice.
