For the sixth time, the summer Vrchlabí will host the cultural open-air festival Živé náměstí. Visitors can spend the Saturday afternoon in the shade of the church enjoying fairy tales for the youngest viewers, and have a pleasant time at concerts by the folk-country-tramp groups Marien and the legendary band Druhá tráva with Robert Křesťan.

About the venue: RTIC Krkonoše

The Krkonoše Regional Tourist Information Centre (RTIC) is housed in the historic town hall on T. G. Masaryk Square in Vrchlabí. Run by the town as a public-benefit organisation and a member of the Czech Association of Tourist Information Centres (category B), it serves as the main information hub for the whole Krkonoše region. Visitors can pick up maps, guidebooks, regional products and souvenirs, and buy tickets for cultural and sports events. The centre also runs guided tours of Vrchlabí's sights and opens the Augustinian monastery church to the public each summer.

The band Druhá tráva announced the release of a new studio album Memphis in September 2026 - recorded directly in American Memphis with Grammy-winning producer Matt Ross-Spang.
