About

Divadlo NAVĚTVI is a Czech professional touring theatre for children, founded in 2016 by actors Jakub Baran and Matěj Kroupa. The company travels to cultural centres, theatres and schools across the country, performing everything from fairy tales to original productions such as Zvěřinec pana Ezopa, KnihoMOLI and Vejce vejci aneb Jurodiví dinosauři. Its shows are designed to work in a wide range of venues, from intimate halls to open-air stages.

What's new

  • 2025-06

    The NAVĚTVI Theatre presented the premiere of a new production of Egg to Egg, or Foolish Dinosaurs (4 June 2025), an original work by Matěj Kroupa directed by Jakub Baran with music by Pavla Bečková.

  • 2024-12

    In December 2024, the premiere of the Christmas production Little Christmas Mischief (5 December 2024) took place, choreographed by Barbora Šímová and directed by Jakub Baran.

  • 2025-10

    The production Egg to Egg, or Foolish Dinosaurs was performed in several places in the republic in October 2025, including in Písek and in Frenštát pod Radhoštěm.
