Through the Keyhole
A wild comedy at Divadlo Mír. A theatrical performance full of humor and unexpected twists.
Divadlo Mír is a professional theatre in Ostrava, founded in 2017 by actor and producer Albert Čuba in a former cinema in the Vítkovice district. It focuses on comedy and works without a permanent ensemble, inviting professional actors from across the country for each production. The theatre runs its own streaming platform MírPlay and is closely associated with the improv group Tři Tygři; its shows have been sold out for years, making it one of the most-visited stages in the Czech Republic.
Divadlo Mir achieved revenues of approximately 70 million CZK in 2025 (year-on-year growth of 40%), and the group's EBITDA exceeded 28 million CZK.
Divadlo Mir presented the premiere of the new comedy Keyhole on May 9, 2026, directed by Juraj Deák.
Divadlo Mir announced a June guest tour to Prague's Divadlo Na Fidlovačce with the comedy Dad and the new production Keyhole.
Albert Čuba completed his stand-up tour 300 Balls, during which he visited 10 cities throughout the Czech Republic.
Divadlo Mir launched a crowdfunding campaign Fools for Themselves to support the construction of a new stage in Ostrava-Vitkovice; the total project cost is estimated at 400 million CZK, and construction is planned to begin in 2027.
