About

Divadlo MA is an independent professional theatre based in Prague, founded in 2013 by director Marianna Arzumanova, whose original plays form the core of its repertoire. The company tackles themes of migration, antisemitism and resistance to totalitarianism, and has performed abroad in Tel Aviv, London and Schloss Elmau. Its home stage is Divadlo v Celetné, and it also runs a summer season at the Grotto in Havlíčkovy sady. Pianist Evgeny Kissin serves as the theatre's artistic patron.
