Divadlo b is an independent puppet theatre company based in Prague, founded in 2016 by Radek Beran, René Krupanský and Kristina Beranová - all with roots in the renowned Buchty a loutky ensemble. The company focuses mainly on shows for young children, though it occasionally stages work for adult audiences. Since 2018, DAMU graduate Adriana Máčiková Kubištová has been a core member, bringing a distinctive visual sensibility to her productions. O Malence is the company's staging of H. C. Andersen's fairy tale for children aged three and up.
Theatre b performed on the summer stage at Strossmayer Square in Prague 7, where every Wednesday from July 17 to August 28, 2024, it presented performances for the youngest audiences.
Theatre b expanded its repertoire with the production Mouse and Weasel based on Arnold Lobel's book, with puppets and scenography by DAMU graduate Jakub Šulík.
Theatre b presented the original production Forest Tale, whose plot was prepared by Adriana Kubištová; the performance participated in the Puppet Theatre Chrudim festival in the Open program.
