DFS Fěrtúšek

About

DFS Fěrtúšek is a children's folk ensemble from Strážnice in southern Moravia, operating under the Jednota Orel organisation and led by Pavla Vašíčková. The group performs annually at the International Folklore Festival Strážnice - one of the most prominent folk festivals in the Czech Republic - and takes part in local events ranging from the wine harvest celebration to the traditional maypole raising. Its core mission is keeping the folk traditions of the Slovácko region alive for the youngest generation.

At the Strážnickém vinobraní 2025, the Fěrtúšek ensemble performed together with DFS Danájek in the morning program for the youngest.

The ensemble participated in the International Folklore Festival Strážnice 2025 (June 26-29), where it performed in the Život na Slovácku program and in the closing gala program.

At MFF Strážnice 2024, the Fěrtúšek ensemble performed in the children's program and in the closing gala program of the festival.

In April 2024, the ensemble performed in the final of the singing competition Zpěváčci Strážnicka Vaška Harnoše.
