B&D Strings

About

B&D Strings is an Ostrava-based string duo formed by violinist Alžběta Falcníková and cellist Judita Šprochová, both members of the Janáček Philharmonic Ostrava. Falcníková has been the orchestra's concertmaster since 2005; Šprochová trained at the Prague AMU under DanielVeis. The duo has given dozens of concerts and released a profile CD spanning Baroque and 20th-century repertoire.
