Duo Brousek - Brzobohatý - lifelong friends and composers Ondřej Brousek and Ondřej Brzobohatý - will perform together on the stage of the House of Culture in Frenštát pod Radhoštěm.

The evening's programme is built on musical humour: what would happen to Beethoven's "Fate" if the composer were an optimist? Why does a banal film dialogue move us? What is "inappropriate" music and can a battle of two pianos have a winner? The answers will come directly from the two pianos.

The concert is performed on a W. HOFFMANN Professional P206 instrument; the event partner is C. Bechstein - www.bechstein.com.

About the venue: Dům kultury

The Dům kultury in Frenštát pod Radhoštěm opened in 1964 - its construction was only completed thanks to the determination of local cultural workers and trade unionists at a time when similar projects were being halted elsewhere. After fifty years without major repairs, the building was fully renovated from 2015 onwards, with the new interior designed by the Brno-based studio Velehradský. Today it houses a cinema in the Europa Cinemas network, the Albín Polášek exhibition hall, and a public library. The programme covers concerts, theatre, festivals, and lectures; halls and club rooms are available for hire.
