Alfons Kotvanov

About

Alfons Kotvan is a Slovak musician from the Záhorie region who plays accordion and keyboards. Together with his son Marián he forms Duo Jamaha, active since 1996, with Alfons providing the accordion backbone of their folk-pop sound. The duo holds three gold and three platinum records and won the German SMAGO Award 2015 for their single "Tanz mit mir heute Nacht".
