Pouta

Pouta is a continuation of the disbanded group Poupata. Currently (2023) the band performs with Radek Novák, Iveta Nováková, and Jakub Mazura.

Poupata was a Czech folk and tramping group that played primarily songs by bandleader Víťa Troníček and Radka Klečková. Founded in 1992, the group maintained essentially the same line-up until 2002, when Šárka Nováková left and was replaced by singer Zdena Němcová. In 2003, the group disbanded following the separation of the Troníčeks.

Pouta, founded by siblings Novák and Andrea Troníčková, and Marien, founded by Víťa Troníček, can be considered successor bands.
