Alex Mirutziu is a Romanian artist born in 1981 in Sibiu, working across performance, installation, sculpture, and poetry. He incorporates autobiographical elements into his practice and treats the body as an emotional archive and a site where ideological conflicts play out. His projects have been hosted by institutions including the Power Plant in Toronto, Mucsarnok Kunsthalle Budapest, and the 2015 Venice Biennale.
