Acid Mothers Temple is a Japanese space rock collective formed in the mid-1990s around guitarist Kawabata Makoto. The group is known for its psychedelic "trip music" — a blend of extended improvisation, hypnotic riffs, and experimental synthesizer textures. Over the course of their career they have released more than a hundred albums and tour extensively every year.
