1000mods are a Greek stoner and psychedelic rock band from Chiliomodi, near Corinth, formed in the summer of 2006. The trio - Dani G. (bass and vocals), Giorgos T. (guitar) and Labros G. (drums) - has released five studio albums and played hundreds of shows across Europe and North America. Known for their commitment to vintage gear and analog sound, they are widely regarded as one of the genre's most powerful live acts. Their fifth album, Cheat Death, came out in November 2024 and was received as their heaviest and most ambitious work to date.
The band announced an extensive European tour in spring 2025 in support of the album Cheat Death, together with the band Frenzee.
The fifth album Cheat Death was released on November 8, 2024 on the label Ouga Booga and the Mighty Oug Recordings (worldwide) and Ripple Music (USA), and critics called it the band's heaviest recording.
In April 2024, founding guitarist Giannis S. left the band for personal reasons; the band continues as a trio.
On the autumn 2024 tour, Ioannis Fotiadis replaced the departing guitarist, and on the British tour, Marios Samaris from the band Blame Kandinsky.
The Cheat Death tour continued in April 2025 with stops in the Balkans - Belgrade, Novi Sad, Zagreb, Bucharest, and Cluj.
