Elder is an American rock band from Massachusetts, formed in 2006 and now based in Berlin. Frontman and guitarist Nick DiSalvo has steered the band from stoner metal roots through psychedelic and progressive rock into a densely layered sound that resists easy categorisation. The breakthrough album Lore (2015) and the critically acclaimed Reflections of a Floating World (2017) cemented their reputation in the heavy underground. In 2026 the band released their seventh studio album, Through Zero.
Elder in July 2026 continues its summer tour with performances in Poland, Germany, Italy and other countries, including festival headliner slots.
The band announced 21 European and British concerts for 2027 with support from Temple Fang and REZN.
