Václav Noid Bárta at Sychrov Castle
Golden Nightingale award winner Václav Noid Bárta presents a solo concert spanning his twenty-year musical journey from bands Dolores Clan and Dymytry to his current solo work.
Sychrov Castle is a neo-Gothic monument in the Liberec Region, listed as a national cultural landmark since 1995. The originally baroque residence was bought in 1820 by the French Rohan family, who rebuilt it into its current romantic form between 1847 and 1862. The interiors feature the woodcarving work of Petr Bušek and a Rohan portrait gallery - the largest collection of French portrait painting in Central Europe. A 23-hectare English park surrounds the castle, which hosts concerts, exhibitions and cultural events throughout the year. Antonín Dvořák visited seven times; the park inspired him to compose, among other works, the Violin Concerto in A minor, Op. 53.
