Discovery Begins - A Fascinating New Exhibition
A new exhibition at Blansko Castle exploring the fascinating themes of discovery and its impact on our understanding of the world.
The Renaissance château in the centre of Blansko developed through successive rebuildings of a 14th-century Gothic stronghold and was completed in 1604. It formerly belonged to the Gellhorn and Salm families, who used it as an occasional residence. Today it houses the Muzeum Blanenska, with permanent exhibitions on artistic cast iron, the prehistory of the Blansko region, and the exploration of the Moravian Karst.
