About the venue

The Malina allotment colony has been running since 1953 on the slopes of Kraví hora hill in the Veveří district of Brno. Its plots, covering over 15,000 m², are owned by the city and leased to members of the Czech Gardeners' Union for individual cultivation and leisure. Shared facilities include a clubhouse, bonfire area and water supply; the colony occasionally opens to the public, for instance during the Open Gardens Weekend.
