About the venue

The exhibition hall of the Čáslav Municipal Museum and Library stands on náměstí Jana Žižky z Trocnova, in premises that were formerly a library and were renovated in 2004. It opened in January 2005, replacing the original hall that had been in use since 1960. Both fine-art and museum-style exhibitions are held here; the hall is open only while an exhibition is running.
