About the venue

U Zvonu is a historic locality on the eastern edge of the ring promenades in central Plzeň. A medieval hospital founded in the early 14th century once stood here, and later a residential complex where inventor František Křižík ran his workshop from 1881 to 1891. The building was badly damaged in the 2002 floods and subsequently demolished. The open plot now serves as a public space for markets, outdoor food events and open-air exhibitions.
