About the venue

The Great Synagogue in Plzeň is the second largest synagogue in Europe and the third largest in the world. Built between 1888 and 1892 in a Moorish-Romanesque style to a design by Viennese architect Emanuel Klotz, it seats around 2 000 people. Today the building hosts concerts and exhibitions throughout the year.
