BVV Trade Fairs Brno is the largest trade fair and exhibition organiser in the Czech Republic. The exhibition grounds in the Pisárky district trace their roots to 1928, when the Exhibition of Contemporary Culture was held here. With over 130,000 m² of net exhibition space, the site ranks 23rd in the world. Many of its pavilions are landmarks of functionalist architecture, and today the venue hosts trade fairs, congresses, sports events and concerts. Its flagship event is the International Engineering Fair MSV, the leading industrial fair in Central Europe.
