About the venue

The Koněpruské caves are the largest publicly accessible cave system in Bohemia, carved into Devonian limestone of the Bohemian Karst. Three levels of chambers hold rich stalactite formations and Ice Age animal remains. A medieval coin-forging workshop discovered on the second level is a rare find with few parallels in Europe.
