Sladovna Písek is a cultural centre housed in a seven-storey historic building constructed in 1862–1864 in the heart of Písek. Originally a malt house serving the local brewery, it was renovated and reopened by the city in 2007 as a cultural venue. It features a permanent malting exhibition and a range of interactive exhibits focused on play and creativity for children and adults, including the Anthill, Animation Studio and Pilař's Playground. The Balzám café is located on the ground floor.
