About the venue

Rosnička pond sits on the northwestern edge of Svitavy and is the city's main recreational area. The sandy beach covers nearly 2,000 m² and is flanked by a pub, a children's playground and a boat-hire service. The site borders the Brand forest, where a nature trail leads to the headwaters of the Svitava river; a public barbecue area, a fitness trail and cycling routes round out the offer. Since 1985 the annual Vandrbál tramp and folk music festival has been held here.
