About the venue

Plzeňské městské dopravní podniky, a.s. (PMDP) is the main public transport operator in Pilsen. The company's history goes back to 1899, when the first electric tram ran in the city. Today the network consists of trams, trolleybuses and buses, carrying over 100 million passengers a year. Nearly two thirds of all services are operated by electric traction vehicles.
