Freebike is a Czech tech company based in Prague's Karlín district that makes and operates shared e-bikes. Between 2019 and 2020 it ran a fleet of over 400 e-bikes in Prague - at the time the largest such fleet in Central Europe. After shifting focus to foreign markets, it returned to the Czech Republic in 2026 as the supplier behind Pilsen Bike, placing 300 e-bikes across 156 stations in Plzeň. The company also provides the technology platform, including the contactless Tap&Ride payment system.

Bike Sharing in Plzeň – Ride the City on a Shared E-Bike

Pilsen Bike bike-sharing operates in Plzeň from March to November. Rent one of 300 yellow e-bikes from 156 stations across the city for 1 CZK per minute, with free 15-minute rides twice daily for monthly public transport pass holders.
