My Quarries in Rumburk Museum
An exhibition exploring how quarrying shaped the Labské Sandstone landscape and teaching visitors to recognize abandoned quarries in nature.
A regional history museum housed in the former Förster textile-dyeing factory, where it has been based since the end of World War II. Founded in 1902 on the initiative of the Humboldt Society, it has operated as a branch of the Oblastní muzeum in Děčín since 1977. The permanent exhibition "Střípky z historie" (Fragments of History) covers the history of the Rumburk area and the Šluknov Salient, with dedicated sections on the music salon of August Stradal - the last pupil of Franz Liszt - and the studio of painter August Frind. The ground floor hosts an exhibition on the Rumburk Mutiny.
