About the venue

Špilberk Castle rises on a hill above Brno and ranks among the most significant fortresses in Moravia. Built as a royal castle in the 13th century, it later became a feared Habsburg prison. Today it is run by the Muzeum města Brna, hosting permanent exhibitions on the city's history as well as concerts and seasonal events.
