Catch Schlik, or Journey Along the Schlik Family Trail
A summer family game in Ostrov where you follow the Schlik family trail and collect postcards to uncover a hidden treasure.
Ostrov nad Ohří is a town in the Karlovy Vary Region, situated at the foot of the Krušné hory mountains between Karlovy Vary and Jáchymov. Its historic core is a municipal heritage zone dating back to the 13th century - town rights were confirmed by John of Bohemia in 1331. Alongside the medieval centre, the extensive Sorela housing estate from the 1950s, built in the spirit of socialist realism, is also architecturally notable. The town is also home to the Red Tower of Death, part of the UNESCO Erzgebirge/Krušnohoří site. The annual Children's Film and Television Festival of Ota Hofman takes place here every year.
