Letní kino Olomouc, known locally as Letňák, sits on Pekární street right below the walls of Olomouc castle, a short walk from St. Wenceslas Cathedral. What started as a straightforward open-air cinema has grown into a multifunctional cultural venue with a capacity of 2,200. The large amphitheater takes concerts and film screenings, while several smaller stages handle more intimate events. The season traditionally runs from May to September.
