About the venue

The concert hall of the Základní umělecká škola (ZUŠ) Praha 8 in Kobylisy is used mainly for pupil recitals, graduation concerts and competitions. The school was founded in 1952 and underwent a major reconstruction between 2000 and 2005, gaining modern halls with purpose-designed acoustics. Alongside the concert hall, the school also has an orchestral hall; one of the spaces was recently refurbished as a multipurpose venue with newly designed spatial acoustics.
