Matouš Zukal is a laureate of the international Prague Spring piano competition and winner of numerous other international competitions and festivals across Europe. He has performed with the Prague Symphony Orchestra FOK and other Czech orchestras, records for Czech Radio and Czech Television, and collaborates with chamber ensembles.
Jan Polívka works as a soloist and chamber musician in many European countries and teaches piano at the Frankfurt University of Music. He was conductor of the Main Kammerorchester, with which he performed 20 piano concertos as a soloist. As a choir director in Germany and the Czech Republic, he promotes the exchange of repertoire between the two countries, particularly works by Leoš Janáček. His own compositional work includes pieces for strings, sacred music, masses, canons for children and adults, poems, and drawings.
